Feb-roo-air-ee or Feb-yoo-air-ee? ～Februaryの発音って何？～

今日の英語記事では、2月の発音について書きました。1回記事を読んでみて、意味を推測してから、下のボックスを開きながら理解を深めていきましょう。
How do you say “February?” The standard way to say the word is “feb-roo-air-ee,” but not many people say it like this now. Most people say “feb-yoo-air-ee.” Why has the pronunciation changed? It might be so that it rhymes with “January,” or it might be because “feb-roo-air-ee” is difficult for even native speakers to say. Some people dislike “feb-yoo-air-ee” and think that it is wrong, but native speakers have been saying it for more than 150 years.
