【英語多読】A Cup of Tea ～お茶と言ったら？～

今週の英語記事では、色んな国で「お茶」が何を指すかについて、簡単な英語で紹介します。1回記事を読んでみて自分の力で意味を推測してから、下のボックスを開き、理解を深めていきましょう。
When you think of a “cup of tea,” what do you see? If you live in Japan or China, you probably see green tea. However, in other countries, a cup of tea often means a different type of tea. For example, to an Australian, tea means hot black tea with milk and sugar. This is the same for people in the United Kingdom. Meanwhile, when an American says “tea,” they are usually talking about iced black tea with lots of sugar. In Turkey, tea is hot black tea which is very strong. If you ask for tea in another country, don’t be surprised by what you get!
