どうもどうも、いちから英会話のヒカリノです。実は先々週、念願の佐賀インターナショナルバルーンフェスタに行ってきました。
そんなわけで今週の英語記事では、その年に1回のバルーンフェスタについて、簡単な英語で紹介します。1回記事を読んでみて自分の力で意味を推測してから、下のボックスを開き、理解を深めていきましょう。
I went to the Saga International Balloon Festival on November 3. The festival is held in Saga every year, and this was the 40th anniversary. More than 100 hot air balloons came from countries around the world, including Taiwan, Poland, Brazil and Australia. I saw three events. In the morning, I saw the Balloon Fantasia. During this event, you could walk close to and touch special balloons shaped like cartoon characters. In the afternoon, I saw a balloon competition. Balloon pilots flew their balloons and tried to drop a special marker inside a triangle on the ground. It was very exciting. Finally, in the evening, I saw the night mooring event. Pilots used their burners to light up their balloons while music played. It was beautiful. I really enjoyed my day.
