November is known on the Internet as National Novel Writing Month, or \u201cNaNoWriMo\u201d for short. During this month, writers around the world try to write a novel containing 50,000 words. That\u2019s 1,667 words each day. Participants must start after 12:00am on November 1st and finish by 11:59pm on November 30th. It is a big challenge, and most people do not finish, but there are prizes for those who do, and some novels written during NaNoWriMo are published.<\/p>\n

People from all over the world participate in NaNoWriMo. In fact, 400,000 people participated last year. Many people use it as a chance to write a draft of their first ever novel. There is a large community online, and everyone helps each other to achieve their goals, so it gives people a lot of motivation. NaNoWriMo is a big task, but I hope that everyone who is participating this year will do their best.<\/p>\n
