What do you do when you lose a tooth? When I was a child, I put my tooth under my pillow. I believed that something called the tooth fairy was going to come and give me money for my tooth. It can be scary for a child to lose a tooth, so parents in countries such as America, Australia and the UK tell their children about the tooth fairy and put some money under their pillows while they are sleeping. When the children wake up, their tooth is gone, and there are some coins under their pillow. They usually get only a few dollars for one tooth, but in this way, losing a tooth becomes an exciting event for them.
